Our Commitmet to Sustainibility
OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINIBILITY
As the second-largest apparel exporting country in the world, sustainability is not an option for Bangladesh—it is a necessity. The apparel and textile industry plays a pivotal role in the country’s socioeconomic development, contributing over 84% of total national exports and directly employing around 4 million people—more than the entire population of many countries.
Bangladesh is also unique in that its export-oriented garment factories are rigorously inspected, with safety remediation efforts led by both local and international experts. This commitment to safety and progress sets a global example.
At Circular Fashion, we view our responsibility to the planet with deep conviction. Blessed with abundant water and favorable weather, we are determined to give back to the environment through every aspect of our operations. Rooted in the GREEN CONCEPT of sustainability,
we are committed to:
- Ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees
- Protecting the environment
- Conserving energy and natural resources
We are proactively addressing the environmental impacts and dependencies across our value chain—starting from raw material sourcing to post- consumer waste—through materiality assessments that help us understand and act on what matters most.
Our sustainability efforts include:
- A factory structure built from recycled steel, salvaged from decommissioned ships, reducing our carbon footprint.
- Workstations and tables crafted from recycled materials, promoting a circular design philosophy.
- Rainwater harvesting systems with multiple collection pits and a simple yet effective storage system, soon to be fully integrated for reuse in operations.
At Circular Fashion, sustainability is not just a principle, it is our practice. Every step we take is aimed at shaping a better, greener future for the generations to come
